The Dubai Fountain
Your visit to Dubai would not be complete if you didn’t seize the opportunity of viewing the picturesque choreographed fountain display located on the Burj Khalifa Lake in downtown Dubai. The fountain spans over 270 meters in length, gushing waters to a height of approximately 150 meters making it the largest of its kind. This music and light accompanied water display should definitely make it on your Dubai To-Do List.

Rooftop Gardens Outdoor Cinema
If you’re one who admires movies under the stars, going to the free outdoor cinema at WAFI Mall would make a great Sunday evening activity. This free-of-cost outdoor movie location shows movies every Sunday from the cool months of October to April beginning at 8:30 PM. So on a Sunday evening in Dubai, get there early, grab one of those giant beanbags, get comfortable and enjoy the show.

Dubai Aquarium
This lovely aquarium and underwater zoo is home to thousands of aquatic life with over 140 different species, inclusive of sharks and rays. It’s located on the ground floor of The Dubai Mall, making it visible from outside without a cost. If you’re on a budget and want great photos to take home with you, this breathtaking aquarium will do the trick. On the other hand, entry to the aquarium tunnel attracts a cost of USD $29.00 but either way you won’t be disappointed.

Shindagha Historic District
It’s always refreshing to learn about the places we travel to and Dubai is no exception. The Shindagha Historic District was home to the elites and ruling Sheikh’s before the 1950s. The location offers viewing of museums as well as other cultural exhibits and promises to be an interesting experience. It’s open to tourists for free from Sundays to Thursdays 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays.

Yoga Classes for Free
If you’re into fitness and want to keep up with your yoga routine while visiting Dubai, no need for the hassle of signing up for yoga classes. The classes offered by “Friends of Yoga” are free and are conveniently located in 5 areas around the city. The classes are held on a daily basis; from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM and 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM.
