- Comprising pieces from an extensive private collection, the Tareq Rajab Museum packs an enormous amount of historic art pieces into a relatively small space. Visitors can feast their eyes on Muslim artifacts like gold and silver jewelry, headdresses as well as ancient calligraphy and manuscripts.
Major Roadways In Kuwait- Highway 80 curves westward from Kuwait City around its bay and heads north to Iraq, ending in the city of Basrah. Destroyed remnants from Iraq’s 1990 invasion of Kuwait can still be seen along the road, sometimes referred to as the “Highway of Death” due to the attack.
- Running parallel to each other, Highways 30 and 40 originate in Kuwait City and run south, terminating in Bahrain. Within Kuwait, the roads run through Mahboula, Ahmadi and Fintas.
