How to Get There
Located 10 minutes away from Downtown San Diego, San Diego International Airport is the main transportation hub for around 16 million passengers per year. It provides service to 22 airlines, some of them offering direct, non-stop flights from countries such as the UK, Japan, Canada, or Mexico. Free airport shuttles will take you to the city every 15 minutes, apart from available car rental and taxi services. Also, Bus Route 992 departs from terminals 1 and 2. When looking for cheap flights to San Diego, it’s very advisable to book your tickets with enough time in advance, especially if you plan to travel in summer.
