How to Spend 48 Hours in Orlando

What’s the first thing you want to do once you’ve landed from your flights to Orlando? Is it a rollercoaster ride in a scary theme park? A stroll through nature or a nap on the beach? A visit to museums and historical sites? Whatever it is that you’re looking to do on your sunny sojourn, Orlando has it all. It’s guaranteed that you won’t see and do everything you want to if your visit is going to be a short one, but the following plan can help you enjoy the best of what Orlando has to offer in just 48 hours. Check it out!

Day 1:

Morning

No time to spare! Hop right off your flights to Orlando and right into the action. For a short trip, staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is not only like living in a palace but it’s a great way to access the best of Disney, quickly. Check in and spend some time walking around and enjoying the view. Grab a coffee and pastry from Java Bar at the back of the Swan hotel and then head out to the beach to enjoy the view, take a swim, and relax with a good book. Rent a watercraft after you’ve had a rest if you’re feeling adventurous.

Afternoon

Once you’ve spent some time lying in the sun, it’s time for action. The Magic Kingdom awaits, but since you’ll only be spending the afternoon and evening there, invest in a FastPass so you don’t waste time waiting in line. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall offers a lunch buffet that is second to none and once you’re done eating you’ll want to check out as many amazing attractions as possible.

Evening

The Magic Kingdom is open until midnight so feel free to stay late into the evening. Have dinner at the unique AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatres, enjoying Orlando’s best seafood and other great treats. Pay a visit to the House of the Whispering Willows and the Haunted Mansion; these spots are far more enjoyable at night than during the day. You may also want to enjoy the rides again – after all, there are fewer people at night than during the day.

Don’t waste another minute. Grab your flights to Orlando and book your weekend getaway today!

Day 2:

Morning

Start your day with a hot air balloon ride over Orlando at sunrise. The view is spectacular, so be sure to bring your camera. Once you land on solid ground, treat yourself to a relaxing breakfast at Fresh Mediterranean Market before setting off for the day. The food is inspired by Mediterranean culture and dishes and there are plenty of fresh, tasty treats to pick from. When you’re done, hop over to Epcot World Showcase – there’s really no other attraction quite like it.

Afternoon

A trip to Orlando isn’t complete without spending some time shopping. Premium outlets offer renowned luxury brand names at incredible prices so head out and see what great deals you can find. Vinito Ristorante is in the local area and offers a great atmosphere, scrumptious food, and fast service.
