Al Quoz
This industrial neighborhood located in western Dubai is hard not to notice on your visit to Dubai. It’s a community of mostly 2-3 story rustic buildings, a striking contrast to the popular notions of Dubai. Art lovers may find several art galleries in this area inclusive of the following: Green Art Gallery and Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde. There are also some spots where you could chill and enjoy a meal such as Al Sadiq Restaurant which serves Indian cuisines. If you are interested in Chinese and Pakistani cuisines, you might also want to stop at Al Quos Paragon.
Deira
This neighborhood was once seen as the commercial center of Dubai and is now dubbed ‘Old Dubai’. This city was made popular for its spice souks (markets), gold, and fresh food markets. At Deira, visitors can enjoy a taste of Dubai with tantalizing Arabic, Indian, Moroccan, and Persian cuisines at various ethnic restaurants. Ashiana, a restaurant serving Indian cuisine, is a great spot for food lovers.

Downtown Dubai
Formerly known as Burj Dubai, is one of the most instrumental neighborhoods that houses many landmarks which makes Dubai popular including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain, and the Dubai Mall. This trendy neighborhood offers many activities and attractions for adults and children alike. Your trip here would simply be incomplete if Downtown Dubai is not on the list of stops to make.
Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR)
JBR is a residential community set on the Persian Gulf which offers picturesque scenery to be enjoyed by visitors of all ages. If you wish to take a walk along the beach or have a picnic, you’ll also find many many shops, restaurants, and boutiques conveniently located here.
Bur Dubai
This historic district is located beside the Dubai Creek and is home to the country’s only Hindu temple Shiva and Krishna Mandir. Large textile markets are located in this area as well as various tourist attractions such as Dubai Cree, Dubai Museum, Heritage Shindagha Village and the Grand Mosque.
