Things to Avoid in Dubai
The Islamic religion is the official religion of the United Arab Emirates but other religious practices, with the exception of Judaism, are accepted in Dubai; making the city one of the most liberal locations in the Middle East.
Women are urged to dress modestly in public, fully covering arms and legs. Public food consumption is not allowed during the holy month of Ramadan but luckily, hotels bypass this by screening off restaurants, allowing foreign guests to have a meal without getting anyone upset.
Although you and your special someone might plan to take a trip to Dubai, remember to avoid PDA, as even holding hands in public is considered inappropriate.
