Las Vegas is home to some amazing high-end restaurants that offer dining experiences that are out of this world. If you enjoy fresh ingredients, excellent cuisine, and an upscale ambiance, be sure to check out one or more of the following gourmet restaurants in town.
Joel Robuchon
A visit to Joel Robuchon’s only restaurant in the United States will give you a glimpse into why he is called the “Chef of the Century” and why his restaurants have earned more Michelin stars than any other restaurant chain in the world. The 6 and 16-course tasting menus are highly recommended since they enable you to try a wide variety of dishes; however, it isn’t just the food that makes this experience worthwhile. The elegant, palatial ambiance will leave you feeling like royalty as you enjoy both beautiful scenery and culinary delights in the same setting.
Twist
Twist chef Pierre Gagnaire is second to none, and his restaurant is not one you will soon forget. The menu changes with the seasons, so be sure to pay regular visits if you come to Vegas on a regular basis. The French cuisine has a modern spin that offers the best of both the Old World and the New; at the same time, the unique lighting, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and glass staircase will leave you feeling as if you are walking (and dining) in a palace in the sky.
CUT
This is the place to go if you enjoy top-quality steaks. All meat served in the restaurant must meet strict criteria set down by the chef; the beef is then grilled over hardwood and charcoal before being finished under a broiler. The waiter will bring various cuts to the table along with a variety of sauces and toppings. The restaurant also has some unique dishes you won’t want to miss, including pristine oxtail broth, bone marrow flan, and classic Dover sole. The wine list also gets high marks, as does the classy decor.
Bar Masa
This restaurant is nothing short of paradise for anyone who enjoys sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes. The raw ingredients are, for the most part, flown in from Japan to ensure a top-quality dining experience. Some of the many great seafood dishes you’ll find here include kegani hairy crab salad, yari ika, dancing shrimp, and akamutsu.
Estiatorio Milos
Costas Spiliadis’s charming yet not overly palatial restaurant is best known for its enormous fish, seafood, and vegetable counter. The fish and seafood are fresh, so what is offered on any given day depends on the catch for that particular day. You’ll find plenty of vegetables to choose, making it an ideal spot for vegetarians. Estiatorio Milos has a peaceful ambiance with soft lighting that will help you de-stress and enjoy the evening to the fullest.
