Richard Branson's Virgin Blue, which is the domestic carrier for Australia, is going under a name change to…Virgin Australia. Very creative.

The airline is doing the name change to help with branding of the 11-year-old Virgin property. Virgin has another airline, V Australia, but that is the long-haul carrier for the company as well as Virgin Atlantic and Virgin America. Confused yet?

With a new name comes a new logo and website. However neither have been revealed just yet to the public. The unveiling is expected to take place before the end of June, but with leaks so common online, we should see some new branding beforehand. Once it is revealed, expect us to cover it here on the blog.
