Great news! Virgin America just announced that it will launch nonstop flights between Los Angeles International Airport and both Honolulu, Oahu and Kahului, Maui. Flights to Honolulu will begin on May 5, 2016, with flights to Kahului beginning on June 14, 2016. Virgin already flies direct to Hawai’i from San Francisco, which has been great for NoCal passengers looking to reach the island state.
