US Airways Adding First Class on Express Regional Jets CheapOair Staff May 17, 2011 general US Airways Express regional jets will soon offer First Class US Airways has announced that it will be adding First Class seating to 110 of its Express regional jets. When the overhaul is completed in January 2012, 85 more US Airways destinations will offer first class accommodations with preferred members receiving complimentary upgrades on 640 more flights each day. The first regional jet offering First Class seating is set to debut in September. In all, four fleets will receive the First Class makeover. Upgrades and seating options will be made available as each fleet overhaul is completed. The airline also announced changes to its existing first class food menu. Travelers can now enjoy an expanded snack basket and choose from two hot entrees throughout the day, including several vegetarian-friendly options. Flickr: abdallah
