There’s plenty to do in Las Vegas in the coming months
 

Aside from the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, there is plenty going on in Las Vegas.

 

With hotel rates dipping down and airfare remaining inexpensive, visitors can take some of the money they are saving on cheap flights and enjoy special events that draw in the crowds from the world over.

 

Terry Fator: Ventriloquism in Concert presents “A Very Terry Christmas”:Sure, it’s holiday-themed, but this event, which runs from the end of November through Christmas Eve, should be on any visitor’s list. The show, which features Fator adorable puppets coming home for the holidays, includes original musical numbers, plus Christmas classics and humor about the holidays. The ventriloquist sky-rocketed to fame when he won “America’s Got Talent” in 2007.

 

Watch the Throne– Jay-Z and Kayne West: Musical collaborators Jay-Z and Kanye West will hit the stage on Dec. 9 at MGM Grand Garden Arena to throw down their  innovative album.

 

David Foster & Friends featuring Jackie Evancho: On Dec. 29, David Foster, dubbed the “Ultimate Hit Man,” serves as ring-leader to a line-up of musical brilliance at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

George Strait and Martina McBride: Country super stars George Strait and Martina McBride are heading to Vegas’ MGM Grand Arena to perform on Feb. 4, 2012. Strait’s promoting his 39th studio album, “Here for a Good Time.” McBride is celebrating her eleventh studio album, appropriately titled “Eleven.”
