United Continental adding more Mexico flights

 

United and Continental airlines said Tuesday it will offer more flights between the U.S. and Mexico. 

 

Starting November 1, and pending Mexican government approval, Continental will begin daily nonstop service between Los Angeles and Leon-Guanajuato, Mexico. 

 

Continental has also requested the U.S. Transportation Department allow them to start weekly nonstop flights between Cancun and the U.S. cities of Austin and San Antonio, Texas and, Raleigh, North Carolina on February 19, 2011.

 

United plans to up their offerings to Mexico City from Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
