That's because the newly married airlines will be relocating over 2,500 employees from their suburban Elk Grover Village office to downtown Chicago's Willis Tower. About 280 employees will make the first move, with the rest to follow in phases according to the company. United Continental expects to have more than 1,000 workers in Chi-Town by the end of the calendar year, with the remaining staff moved within the next 18 months. Formerly known as Sears Tower, the renamed Willis Tower will have 12 floors of United Continental workers occupying the building.
