Unite union, which represents 13,000 British Airways cabin crew workers, said it would not strike during the week of the royal wedding. Unite union, which represents the thousands of disgruntled British Airways cabin crew workers, stated they will not strike during the week of the royal wedding. That's great news for the hundreds of people planning to make their way to London for the big event that will see Prince William wed Kate Middleton.

This news comes as Unite plans to ballot BA workers for new strikes as the bitter battle between both the airline and employees rages on with no end in sight.

The union is not ruling out striking during the Easter holiday. Last year the British
Airlines Stewards and Stewardesses Association (aka Bassa) decided against walking off the job over Easter.

Nearly 5,700 of the 13,000 BA cabin crew members recently voted in favor on new strikes. The results were dismissed however after the airline threatened legal action due to the way in which the union handled the balloting of workers.
