A UFO sighting shut down an airport in China last month over concerns that planes might crash into it after take off.

 

Three flights that departed from Inner Mongolia's city of Baotou were grounded on September 11 until the unidentified flying object went away and that passengers were "guaranteed safety" before flying.

 

Witnesses reported a bright light shining in the sky about two-and-a-half miles from the airport, before it suddenly
vanished into thin air. This was the eighth UFO sighting in China since June.
