U.S. Holiday Travel to Be Highest in Five Years

If you’re not a fan of holiday travel than you might want to hold off on packing those bags until after the holidays.

According to AAA, travel during Christmas and New Year’s weekends will jump 1.4 percent from 2010.  It’s expected to reach its highest mark in five years.

Over 90 million people are expected to travel at least 50 miles during the holiday weekends.

Americans are expected to spend more as well.

The travel budget is expected to climb to $718 per household.  It was $694 last year.
