Recently, two Swedish design students, Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin, decided to tackle the universal problem that nobody looks good in a bike helmet. Then, remembering that it’s 2013 and we’re supposed to have hoverboards by now, they decided to just go ahead and build themselves an invisible bike helmet.

 

I’ll repeat that, because it bears repeating. THEY BUILT AN INVISIBLE BIKE HELMET. If you’d like to see it, you can’t. It’s invisible, you silly-billy. Still, here’s a picture of the helmet (Hövding) here.

Pretty cool, huh? If this whole thing feels like it needs a bit more explaining, I’ll step aside and let the inventors take the wheel.
