Turkish Airlines increases flights

 

Turkish Airlines is flying high these days as the carrier just reported a 21 percent increase in international flights and a five percent increase in domestic flights. The airline is currently Europe's fourth-largest carrier by passenger numbers.

 

Temel Kotil, General Manager for Turkish Airlines, spoke about the spike in traffic: “We fly to 67 cities in Europe including Russia and Ukraine. THY is currently the 14th biggest airline in the world, and is steadily growing. We intend to become the biggest”, said Kotil.

 

In other Turkish Airlines news, the carrier plans to increase scheduled service from Istanbul Ataturk to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia starting July 5th from their current double daily to an 18x weekly.
