The City of Angkor

 

Located in northern Cambodia, Angkor is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered by many as one of the most important archaeological sites in Southeast Asia. Stretching over an impressive 250 miles, Angkor holds the brilliant remains of the Khmer Empire, which dates back to the 9th and 15th centuries.

 

Among the remains is the world’s largest pre-industrial city. The most well known are the Temple of Angkor Wat and the Bayon Temple. Bring a camera and plenty of backup memory cards, as chances are you will be clicking away at every turn when visiting this impressive site.

 

To visit the city of Angkor, you’ll need to book a flight to Phnom Penh. Luckily for you we have plenty of cheap seats available to Cambodia’s capital and largest city.
