Champagne, France

Known mostly for exclusively producing the sparkling white wine which bears the city’s name, Champagne, France is about a 100 mile scenic trip to Paris.

Miles of cellars are carved out underneath the city where wine is placed and eventually carbonated to create the sparkling wine we all enjoy on birthdays, graduations and New Year’s Eve.

Even if you don’t drink wine, a visit to this northeast region of France is still an extremely enjoyable trip.
Champagne is also a historically important part of France, as it was often times a battleground when France was engaged in war.
