Where else in the world can you find the biggest.. the only… the first…? It’s easy to fill these blanks with places that will make you want to grab the next cheap ticket to Dubai and be a part of the superlative fascination! World's Tallest Building: Burj Khalifa What would you do if you were in front of the world's tallest building? Besides aweing the beauty of the Burj Khalifa, there is a lot you can do at this nearly 3,000 ft structure. Inside there is a hotel, sky lobbies, a park, residential apartments and an observation deck. And if you are brave, you can climb or base jump from the building. Largest Man Made Island: The Palm Jumeirah You’ve heard of natural erosion and hurricanes of the past destroying islands that don’t exist today, but have you heard of man made islands? The Palm Jumeirah is exactly this, and the largest collection of artificial archipelagos in the world. Not only that, but it is shaped like a palm tree; a perfect symbol of the hot weather in Dubai. You can find a plethora of things on these islands like high rise hotels and luxury shops. Most Expensive Hotel: Burj Al Arab It is hard to keep up with these superlatives, so much that we wonder who keeps track of these records? Nonetheless, we sure know that one of the most, and possibly the world's most expensive hotel is the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The most expensive suites easily run for over $15,000 per night! It also claims to be the world's only 7-star hotel; showing off their luxury status to the rest of the world. Biggest single panel of glass in the world: the Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Center You may wonder what is so cool about the World's Largest Glass Panel. This is only because of what it covers: it showcases the Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Center. Another superlative that is probably one of the most stunning sights in Dubai holds 10 million liters of water. You can walk around this indoor marine pavilion and awe at fishes and other sea life mammals; illuminated in a beautiful showcase. The Middle East's first indoor ski resort: Ski Dubai When packing for Dubai, you wouldn’t think to bring warm clothes to one of the hottest cities in the Middle East. (Literally and figuratively.) But, if you want to visit the first indoor ski resort, you have to! Chill out and channel your inner ski bunny in the middle of the Arabian Desert at Ski Dubai.
