Few Tourists in Egypt

Two months after the hostile removal of President Hosni Mubarak, tourism in Egypt is still struggling to bounce back.


The majestic Egypt pyramids are still in the desert relatively alone.


Since the Jan. 25th protests ensued, over 210,000 tourists departed from Egypt during the last week of January and the first week in February.


The nation lost about $1.7 billion due to the unrest that took place.


Tourism is responsible for two million Egyptians source for income.
