Singapore Airlines to Deploy A380 on Singapore-Tokyo-Los Angeles Route in July CheapOair Staff April 14, 2011 general Singapore Airlines will now launch A380 service to LAX on July 1 Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced a new launch date for Airbus A380 service on its Singapore-Tokyo-Los Angeles route. SIA passengers traveling on the route will fly on the superjumbo beginning July 1. The airline had previously planned to launch A380 service on March 27 but postponed those plans following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that ravaged Japan on March 11.
