The San Diego Zoo is one of the largest and most recognized zoos in the United States. Each year, thousands of visitors arriving on flights to San Diego flock to the zoo’s spacious habitats, hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the world’s most fascinating wildlife.

Now a new app will allow animal lovers to take a piece of the zoo home with them. Released today, the app allows users to quickly access streams of the Zoo’s Polar Cam and high-definition Panda Cam.

Users can also use the app to plan their next trip, listing real-time updates animal presentations, shows, and ticketing options.

The app is available now for download at the iTunes App Store as well as on the Android Market. Search for “San Diego Zoo.”
