The Mondrian SoHo offers stunning panoramic city views

Today, the Mondrian Hotel in New York City’s chic SoHo neighborhood officially opened for business.

The 25-story, 270-room hotel offers panoramic skyline views, a sprawling indoor garden, and sleek, elegant accommodations.

Chef Sam Talbot’s soon-to-open restaurant, Imperial No. Nine, will offer a menu of sustainable seafood, similar to his restaurant in Montauk, New York.

The opening marks the third for the Mondrian brand. The New York outpost joins two others: the original in Los Angeles and one in Miami's South Beach.

Plans are under way for a fourth Mondrian to open Doha, Qatar in 2013.
