Tornado badly damages St. Louis airport

 

The April 22 tornado that ravaged St. Louis, Missouri on April 22 caused serious damage to Lambert Airport.

 

It could take up to one year to completely repair the airport due to the twister. While much of the airport is a mess (Concourse C saw the most damange), fortunately no one was killed. 

 

Airport officials estimated it will take up to 12 months to bring the airport back up to code, including a new roof and new windows in Terminal 1.
