Man Caught Smuggling Snakes on a Plane CheapOair Staff August 30, 2011 general Man Tries to Smuggle Snakes on Plane In a classic case of life imitating art, or at least imitating a Samuel L. Jackson movie, a man attempted to sneak snakes on a plane at the Miami International Airport last week. He was unsuccessful. The TSA discovered seven snakes hidden in an unknown location in the man’s pants. It’s unclear whether the snakes were venomous or not. Jon Allen, TSA spokesperson, said the man didn’t just try to smuggle snakes. In addition to the cold blooded reptiles, he also stowed three tortoises somewhere in his pants- Parachute pants, perhaps? The U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife confiscated the animals and arrested the Jackson copycat for attempting to traffic illegal wildlife onto a plane. Source: MSNBC
