German airline, Lufthansa, will launch flights to Cancun, Male and Mauritius in the winter of next year through their ‘Jump’ business model under Lufthansa branding.

The carrier will provide the winter seasonal routes to Mexico, the Maldives and Mauritius between December 8th, 2015 and April 11th, 2016 twice per week.

Passengers will be flying to paradise on Airbus A340-300s, a three-class aircraft containing 298 seats.

The news comes a month after Lufthansa announced Tampa as the first destination to be serviced by their ‘Jump’ business unit. Lufthansa will fly five times weekly between Frankfurt and Tampa beginning on September 25, 2015.

“We see a promising growth potential on long-haul in the leisure travel business and Lufthansa intends to be more committed to this segment in the future,” said Karl Ulrich Garnadt, chief executive officer, Lufthansa German Airlines and member of the Lufthansa Board.

Lufthansa is also considering bringing the ‘Jump’ model to Bangkok, Cape Town, Hyderabad, Ho Chi Minh City, Nairobi, Panama City and Phuket in late 2015 or 2016.
