Travelers arriving on flights to London between now and February 5 have a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci.

London’s National Gallery opened “Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan” on Wednesday, showcasing nine of the artist’s 15 surviving paintings together for the first time.

The landmark exhibition is nothing short of historic…and expensive. The estimated insurance value of the nine paintings being shown is a staggering $2 billion. The exhibition is located in the museum’s Sainsbury Wing and will run until February 5, 2012.
