Korean Air has announced an inaugural flight for its highly anticipated Airbus A380.

On June 1, the airline will showcase the double-decker plane on a flight from Seoul to Tokyo.

After returning to Seoul, the plane will head to Hong Kong.

Korean Air will be the first airline to reserve the entire upper deck of the plane for business class travelers.

Jae Ho Kim, director of Korean Air Europe, said the move was designed to make business travelers “feel exclusivity like they’re traveling in their own private jet.”

A second A380 will be delivered in time to fly the Seoul-Bangkok route in July, with a third scheduled to fly between New York and Seoul by summer’s end.

In all, the airline plans to have 10 A380s flying by 2014.
