and activities; October is the best time to explore it!  The entire San Diego area participates each
year in Kids Free San Diego, offering an incredible discount to traveling
families.  With over 100 activities,

something for everyone.  Here are a few
of my favorite freebies to explore with your kids:

San Diego Amusement
Parks
With an adult purchase of the same type, kids can score a
free unlimited wristband at Belmont Park, free hopper passes to LEGOLAND and
the SEA LIFE Aquarium, and free admission to SeaWorld San Diego (as well as
free kids meals at Dine with Shamu, and free kids passes for the dolphin and
beluga whale interaction programs.)

friendly zoo in the United States, your kids can get in free to the San
Diego Zoo this month to explore the brand new Australian Outback, Elephant
Odyssey, and of course a visit to the adorable Pandas.  The San Diego Museum council bands together
nearly 40 museums in the county, and your kids can explore all of them for free
with a paid adult.  From the USS Midway
Museum to the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum to the Museum of Making
Music and the NAT (San Diego Natural History Museum), get ready to discover and
learn with your kids.
