Numbers Display's Japan's Deserted Feel

It’s being reported by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) that the radiation levels in Japan’s main airport and ports are within safe limits.

Though safe, people are still staying away from Japan.

International visitors were down by 50.3 percent in March compared to the same month last year.

Though the Sendai airport has reopened, hotels and inns two hours outside where the tsunami hit are booked by aid workers and people escaping the coast.  One Tokyo hotel is allowing numerous families to occupy rooms for several months.

Some hotels are offering discounted rates for victims of the disaster.
