Alaska & Horizon Return to Service Sunday

Horizon and Alaska Airlines returned to service Sunday after a computer issued forced over 150 canceled flights Saturday.

An estimated 12,000 customers were affected by the cancellations.

The problem was a system failure in a flight planning tool. A transformer exploded and disabled the central computer system that both airlines utilize.

Passengers who were affected by the issue are asked to visit the airlines websites for info, and options on rebooking.
