New York may have beat its own record in tourism numbers in
2010, but they weren’t the only one making records.

Hong Kong’s Airport set a record in its own right for
passengers and cargo in 2010.

It was announced Sunday by the airport that they had 50.9
million passengers in 2010.  The 50 millionth
traveler actually didn’t show up at the airport until Christmas Day. It was a
10.3 percent increase from 2009. As mentioned, cargo rose 23.4 percent from
2009.
