We’ve all had to sit through mundane flight safety videos or demonstrations that don’t hold our attention for too long, but Air New Zealand has upped the ante by getting American comedic starlet Anna Faris and Kiwi comedian Rhys Darby to star in this hilarious spoof of Hollywood genres that gets the message across … along with a few laughs!

While the humorous homage to clichéd genres elicits chuckles from travelers, we couldn’t have thought of a better way for the airline to approach these videos and reinforce safety to a whole new generation of flyers.

Well played, Air NZ … well played!
