For the month of June alone, Hawaii hotels saw an average occupancy rate of 71.4 percent, which is an increase of 9.6 percent from last June. The first half of 2010 saw occupancy and room revenue on the rise when compared to the same time a year ago. However, room occupancy in Hawaii is still far below what it was three years ago.
