BP oil spill affects travel, but recovery is already happening

Just a few months after one of the worst oil disasters in U.S. history, travelers have already begun to return to the states worst affected by the BP spill.

Many believed that the accident would scare away tourists for months – possibly years – come due to all of the negative media attention.

However local tourism officials have seen a recovery already to destinations like Orange Beach, Alabama and New Orleans, Louisiana.
