Foursquare's Watching Your Mouth Manchest!

The top 20 rudest cities from around the world were announced Wednesday by Foursquare.

Believe it or not, there was only one New York borough (we should be ashamed) to make the list with Staten Island coming in at number 17. Pittsburgh (PA) came in at number three; El Paso (Texas) was the runner-up to Manchester (U.K.).

A total of seven California cities made the top 20.

3. Pittsburgh, Pa.
4. Bloomington, Ind.
5. Riverside, Ca.
6. Tempe, Ariz.
7. Scottsdale, Ariz.
8. Portland, Oregon
9. Venice, Ca.
10. Orange, Ca.

Foursquare’s list was compiled based on the percentage of curse words used in check-in recommendations.
