Scammer Now in the Slammer

Victoria Scardigno received a sentence of 29 months in prison Thursday for her part in selling $1 million worth of fake airline tickets during her time as a sales agent for Continental Airlines.

Scardigno worked in Newark Liberty International Airport and decided to steal vouchers that were used for flight delays and cancellations.

She then sold the vouchers between $500 and $600, telling people that they could be redeemed for round-trip tickets to anywhere in the world.

According to the report by NJ.com, Scardigno took in an estimated $1 million.
