Foodies lucky enough to be boarding flights to New York City this weekend are in for a treat. That’s because the fourth annual New York City Wine & Food Festival kicks off Thursday in the trendy meatpacking district.

Running through Sunday, the event will be held at the landmark Pier 57, with dozens of celebrity chefs and personalities showing off their latest culinary masterpieces. The all-star line-up includes big name Food Network personalities like Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, Anne Burrell, Tyler Florence, and Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto.

As always, the event will benefit charities dedicated to battling hunger in America. 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to non-profit organizations whose aim is to fight hunger in New York City and elsewhere. In 2010, nearly $1.2 million was raised at the event and organizers are even more hopeful this year.
