Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida offers visiting families the chance to explore marine animals in an atmosphere that boasts luxury, exclusivity, and tranquility. Step out of the theme park lines and spend your time doing what your family craves to do: getting up close with the animals! Discovery Cove is all inclusive and gives guests the chance to swim with dolphins, rays, and tropical fish, or feed exotic birds. The property boasts a 30-acre tropical oasis full of lagoons, lazy rivers, pools, waterfalls, and even white sandy beaches (sand toys included!). Relax in a hammock or choose to snorkel in the nature-inspired reefs full of 10,000 tropical fish. After taking a ride on the river, duck underneath the waterfall to enter the Explorer’s Aviary, a free-flight aviary home to more than 250 exotic birds. SeaVenture allows guests to tour lionfish and sharks in a unique underwater walking tour that ends with a one-on-one visit and touch opportunity with fish and various rays. In Dolphin Lagoon you and 6-8 guests can take a swim with a bottlenose dolphin! You’ll start your experience in shallow water as you get to know your dolphin, and then you will transition to deeper water to get towed back to the shore by these amazing marine mammals! (Kids must be at least six-years old to swim with the dolphins.) Because the park is all-inclusive, you are pampered with complimentary beverages and food. Breakfast is offered in the mornings until 10:30 a.m., and lunch is served from 11a.m.-3 p.m. Numerous food options are available including fresh seafood, salads, and kid-friendly options. Snack bars (also included in admission price) offer complimentary snacks like pretzels, smoothies, and yogurt, while unlimited beverages, including beer and wine, are served at all restaurants and snack bars throughout the day.
