El Al Airlines Launches Nonstop Flights Between Boston and Tel Aviv CheapOair Staff January 8, 2015 Trending Stories El Al Airlines will launch nonstop flights between Logan International Airport in Boston and Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel on June 28. The current flight schedule plan is for three weekly direct flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Flights will be made on the 767 aircraft, which consists of 218 seats with 22 of those being flat-bed seats in Business Class and 28 in Economy Class. Boston becomes the latest destination in El Al Airlines’ North American repertoire. The airline is also launching service between Israel and New York, Los Angeles, Toronto this summer. EL AL President, David Maimon, said “EL AL sees strategic value in reinforcing its activities in North America. The airline aims to expand and increase its routes between Israel and North America, meeting the demands and needs of the important business community, as well as promote tourism. With the opening of this new nonstop route, it is expected that the New England region will become a popular vacation destination for Israelis.
