Started as an event “For Fans, By Fans,” Walker Stalker Con is focused on lovers of sci-fi and the supernatural, with the main focus being the hit show The Walking Dead. The convention gives attendees the chance to meet the stars of popular shows, participate in Q&A sessions, have some fun with the whole family, and get some really cool photo ops. Walker Stalker has spread across the country, with events in major cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, and Portland, but the one held in Atlanta, which is where The Walking Dead is filmed and the story is based, remains the go-to attraction for zombie fanatics.

Reno Zombie Crawl

Reno, NV – Oct 21, 2017

When you see a bunch of Zombies, what do you do? Run? Heck no – you join in and pretend you’re one of em’! The Reno Zombie Crawl, now in its 10th year of gory operation, describes itself as being “huge, city-wide costume parties with booze” – hungry for more? Dress up like the dead, and enjoy access to over 40 bars, special discounts at hotels, and the chance to win tons of prizes for the coolest costume while you’re there. Go on, feed that craving for some raw fun!

Pittsburgh Zombie Fest

As one of the trailblazers in Zombie-related mega-events, the annual Pittsburgh Zombie Fest brings together great live music, food stalls, and of course lots, and lots of drinks…all guaranteed to make sure you’ll be happily scurrying about on your lifeless limbs. And just because you don’t have a heart, doesn’t mean you’re heartless — the event pretty much started World Zombie Day, which unites Zombie aficionados from across boundaries in an effort to alleviate world hunger through contributions raised from similar events around the globe.

Lancaster, PA – Nov 11, 2017

Started 5 years ago, this 5K run through the “Field of Screams” has it all — a bloodthirsty horde hot on your tail, fun obstacles, and some heart-stopping surprises you wouldn’t have seen coming. You can choose to do the course during the day or, for an even more challenging experience, at night. Plus, with the event’s main focus being fundraising for the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, there’s no better cause that’s worth the risk of being ripped apart limb by limb.

New Jersey Zombie Walk

Asbury Park, NJ – Held every first Saturday of October

The New Jersey Zombie Walk has been pulling rotting corpses together for the past 10 years, and it shows no signs of stopping. Every October, the Asbury Park Boardwalk is swamped with the undead – drooling, screeching, and staggering in style. the popular event even shortly held the world record for the largest gathering of zombies (9,592 Zs on October 5, 2013). With a fun schedule that includes a Thriller dance workshop and a Jell-O brain eating contest, it’s a day that’ll make anyone feel glad they’re alive…or dead.
