Continental to offer new NY-London service

Continental Airlines will begin offering a fifth daily flight from New York to London Heathrow this weekend. The new route coincides with the airlines' new winter schedule, which goes into effect tomorrow, October 30th.

This new offering is great news for business travelers that are looking to fly Business Class from London to New York. The flight will depart from London Heathrow beginning October 31 at 8:40am and arrive in Newark International Airport at 1:05pm.  The return flight will depart from New York at 11:05pm and arrive in London at 10:15am the following day. 

“The fifth daily New York/Newark-Heathrow service enables Continental
to offer its customers on this flagship route a choice of flights at
popular times of the day,” says Jim Compton, executive vice president
and chief revenue officer of United Continental Holdings, Inc.

this improved schedule and all our Heathrow flights featuring flat-bed
seats in our award-winning BusinessFirst cabin, Continental has a
highly attractive offering on the New York-London route, one of the
most competitive routes in the world.”
