The miners will arrive at Walt Disney World Thursday morning

The Chilean miners are cashing in on their promised trip to Walt Disney
World. The men captured the hearts of the entire world last year after surviving a 69-day underground ordeal against all odds.

Shortly after their dramatic rescue played out on live television, Disney president and CEO
Bob Iger offered to pay for trips to Disney World for each miner and their family.

31 of the 33 trapped miners will arrive at the Happiest Place on Earth Thursday morning, accompanied by their familes and four of their rescuers. The group will number about 160 people in all. As an added bonus, each family will also receive a $500 Disney gift card from the company.

The highlight of the seven-day, six night vacation will come on Monday during a special parade in the Magic Kingom where the miners will serve as grand marshals.
