With more people flying the Hong Kong based carrier, Cathay Pacific reported a load factor increase of 0.3 percentage points, bringing it to 84.4 percent and a 7.1 percent capacity jump last month. Both airlines carried 149, 009 tons of cargo and mail in August 2010, up roughly 13 percent, with cargo and mail load factor increasing 0.7 percenttage points to 72.7 percen, when compared to August 2009.
