Whether you’ve got flights to Las Vegas or flights to Southern California, it won’t matter because there is going to be a high-speed 190-mile bullet train connecting the two.

The train was approved by the Federal Surface Transportation Board on Wednesday.

The electric trains will connect Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

According to the Central Valley Business Times report, hopes for the bullet train are to reduce air pollution, fuel consumption and congestion along the I-15.

Construction is expected to begin in 2012 with completion happening at the end of 2016.

Looks like ‘what happens in Vegas’ may get its start in Southern California.
