Baltimore Orioles Players Become Southwest Airlines Employees CheapOair Staff August 12, 2011 general Pitcher Jeremy Guthrie Southwest Airlines had Philadelphia Phillies players work for them for a day not too long ago and now they’ve done the same with players from the Baltimore Orioles. Orioles pitches, Jeremy Guthrie and Jim Johnson spent Thursday working as “sub-ins” for Southwest Airlines at BWI airport. They checked in customers, said hello to passengers and even did the boarding procedure along with getting their hands dirty, lifting and unloading baggage from the airplanes.
