Prices for hotel rooms have been decreased by as much as 30 percent across the Gulf Coast and various spots in the Caribbean, as individuals fret about where the oil will show up next. Hotels in certain cities as far away as Miami and along the eastern coast of Texas are seeing bookings affected by the oil disaster. Prices on airline tickets to the Gulf have also decreased slightly since the spill.
