The Big Game Coming to Arizona

Pig-skin lovers should start planning those flights to Arizona soon! NFL owners voted to name Glendale the location of Super Bowl XLIX in 2015.

The Super Bowl will be returning to the Arizona region for the first time since 2008 where the New York Giants beat the unbeaten New England Patriots.

Average February temperature in Arizona is 60 degrees, certainly an upgrade from the outdoor Super Bowl set to take place in 2014 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, commented on the news in the NFL.com story.

“We are thrilled to be back in Arizona,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. “I will say it was a difficult choice.”

It’s only other competition for the 2015 Super Bowl was Tampa, Florida.
